HDMI leads provide high-definition video and multi-channel audio connection between digital high-definition displays, digital AV sources and HDMI switch devices.
This cable type offers the same basic performance as a Standard HDMI Cable. It also benefits from having a dedicated data channel, known as the HDMI Ethernet Channel, for device networking. The HDMI Ethernet Channel functionality is only available if both linked devices are HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) devices.
