Add two RS232, and two RS422/485 serial ports to your PC through a PCI-Express expansion slot
The PEX4S232485 4 Port PCI Express PCIe Serial Combo Card - 2 x RS232 2 x RS422 / RS485 lets you add two RS232, and two RS422/485 serial ports to your PC through a PCI-Express expansion slot. This PCI express serial card is a single card solution that is compatible with nearly any serial communication protocol, supporting RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 2-wire or RS-485 4-wire operating modes. A flexible solution for adding serial ports to full-sized, or small form factor systems, the 4-port serial card includes both low and full profile brackets while the included breakout cable helps to avoid cluttered connections. Backed by a StarTech.com lifetime warranty and free lifetime technical support. The StarTech.com Advantage - This single PCI Express combo card is compatible with any serial device protocol (RS232, RS422, and RS485), allowing for communication with multiple devices over mixed protocols - Includes both low profile/half-height and full profile brackets to ensure fitment into a broad range of system form factors - The included breakout cable saves expense as an all-in-one solution, and allows the addition of multiple serial ports through a single PCI Express slot |
M.2 is a solid-state drive (SSD) form factor primarily used as an operating system boot solution. Lenovo ThinkSystem servers support M.2 drives with the addition of a supported M.2 adapter. The M.2 drives install into an M.2 adapter which in turn is installed in a dedicated slot on the system board of the ThinkSystem server. With two M.2 drives configured, the drives are configured by default as a RAID-1 mirrored pair for redundancy. There are two M.2 adapters supported: - Single M.2 Adapter, which supports one M.2 drive; available as the ThinkSystem M.2 Enablement Kit - Dual M.2 Adapter, which supports one or two M.2 drives; available as the ThinkSystem M.2 with Mirroring Enablement Kit

Based on Broadcom’s scalable 10/25/50/100/200G Ethernet controller architecture, the NetXtreme®-E Series P210TP 2x10GBASE-T PCIe NIC is designed to build highly-scalable, feature-rich networking solutions in servers for enterprise and cloud-scale networking and storage applications, including high-performance computing, telco, machine learning, storage disaggregation, and data analytics. The P210TP 2x10GBASE-T PCIe NIC builds upon the success of the widely-deployed NetXtreme E-Series architecture by combining a high-bandwidth Ethernet controller with a unique set of highly-optimized hardware acceleration engines to enhance network performance and improve server efficiency. Driven by the growing need for higher server bandwidth and storage capacity to support new and emerging applications, enterprises, telcos and cloud providers are modernizing their data centers by adopting latest networking technologies, such as server virtualization and NVMe-oF™. The resulting expansion in data volumes increases server-to-server traffic and CPU loads for networking tasks. With its market-leading hardware acceleration technologies, the NetXtreme-E Series P210TP 2x10GBASE-T PCIe NIC addresses these performance and service demands of mega-scale data center networks with high throughput and advanced flow processing. Features such as TruFlow™ increase VM density up to 50 percent, freeing more CPU cycles for additional virtual machines. On-chip tunneling protocol processing for Geneve, VXLAN, and NVGRE provides up to a 5X throughput increase while lowering CPU utilization up to 90 percent compared to software-only solutions. NetXtreme-E Series solutions also support advanced networking technologies such as RoCE, SDN and NFV, to facilitate the management of data networks and to enable service provider solutions. Standards-compliant 10GBASE-T dual-port PCIe NIC with line-rate, full-duplex throughput NIC partitioning supporting 16 physical functions (PFs) TruFlow™ engine for intelligent flow processing to increase server VM density and accelerate vSwitch processing Industry’s most secure PCIe NIC solution leveraging Broadcom’s BroadSAFE® technology to provide unparalleled platform security via Silicon Root of Trust New end-to-end congestion avoidance and management to anticipate and eliminate congestion before it happens Support for advanced networking technologies including RoCE, SDN, NFV and virtualization TruManage™ enhances server manageability and security for data center deployments

Fast, efficient, and easy-to-use
The efficient architecture of the QM2-2P-244A allows you to easily install NVMe SSDs and maximize their performance with a quiet cooling module. Keep SSD cool A quiet cooling module (heatsink and smart fan) keeps your SSDs running with dependable high performance. SSD cache acceleration Add an SSD cache or enable Qtier (QNAP’s auto-tiering technology) to your NAS to improve overall system performance and maximize storage utilization. Super-fast NVMe SSD storage volume Photographers and videographers can tackle high-resolution RAW multimedia editing directly on NVMe SSD volumes. RAID configurations can help prevent data loss from drive failure. |
The PCIe QM2 expansion card allows you to easily add M.2 SSDs to your PC/workstation. Compared with the SATA interface, the QM2's PCIe interface provides higher bandwidth to deliver faster computing speed and data access. No extra drivers are required to use this QM2 expansion card.
Enhanced performance for demanding applications The QM2 expansion card allows for adding M.2 SSDs to increase the storage capacity of your Windows/Linux PC/workstation, while also boosting overall IOPS performance by offloading bandwidth-demanding tasks to the SSD to minimize application loading times. It is ideal for resource-demanding applications, such as inline video-editing, gaming and more. Tackle performance bottlenecks QM2 boosts performance by adding M.2 SSDs. It doesn’t occupy any 3.5-inch drive bays, allowing you to maximize both your storage capacity and performance. |
