The B-Run HDMI cable tester consists of a Master unit and a remote unit, both equipped with 19-pin HDMI A sockets. By separating the two units, you can easily test long-distance HDMI cables or those that are already installed, ensuring unrestricted use across all cable lengths. The B-Run HDMI cable tester also offers two different test modes for added versatility. Continuity Mode: In this mode, the Master unit sends a continuous signal to all data lines of the Remote unit, causing all LEDs to remain lit. Sweep Mode: Here, each data line is tested individually. The Master unit sends a signal to the first pin, causing the LED for pin 1 to blink green on both the Master and Remote units. This process continues sequentially from pin 1 through pin 19.
