The DS491LT4 is a full HD 49-inch high brightness LCD featuring an LED backlight producing a 3,500 nit sunlight viewable image. The DS491LT4 has been designed for applications in bright environments such as outdoor enclosures and storefront windows. A narrow 8.5 mm bezel makes this model ideal for either single display or video wall applications. Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 color standard to ensure uniformity among multiple displays. The DS4941LT4 features an integrated Android™ based media player with WiFi offering users a complete media platform, allowing playback of local files and USB/SD card media.

Narrow Bezel for Video Walls

The DS491LT4 features a 8.5 mm narrow bezel display – perfect for video wall applications. With built-in video daisy chaining, a single 1080p source can be used on video walls up to 15×15 in size without the need for any additional external video wall controller. By combining a narrow bezel display with the benefits of a high brightness LED backlight, these displays are ideal for indoor environments that receive a high amount of external daylight such as airports, shopping centers and storefront window displays.

Color Temperature and Quality

Ensuring the color and brightness of each screen in a tiled matrix matches can be time consuming and requires additional calibration hardware. Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 (6500K) CIE color standard. Not only does this produce a true, natural white, the color of all screens will be uniform.

Blackening Defect Free

Most residential and commercial screens will blacken or result in isotropic failure when the LCD panel overheats. The DS491LT4 is equipped with a high temperature LCD panel capable of withstanding temperatures up to 110˚C (230°F) without blackening – crucial for direct sunlight applications.

Auto Brightness Control

Different external lighting conditions require different brightness levels. An onboard light sensor measures the ambient light in the area and automatically adjusts the image accordingly.

Retailers, restaurants and business operators do not have the time or resources to deal with technology outages or finding the right person to call when an issue arises. As part of the three-year standard warranty for large format IDS, Elo offers complimentary On-Site Exchange to cover you in the unfortunate event your device has a hardware issue. All you do is submit an RMA through Elo's online portal. If the issue can't be resolved over the phone, Elo will send a replacement unit and dispatch a technician to replace the device on-site within three business days. Additionally, Elo offers rapid response times for Large Format IDS at an additional cost.
