Most of us value peace and quiet within the comforts of our homes, but not all gaming PCs seem to have got the memo however, and many systems produce a lot more noise than is ideal. Kolink has created the Tranquility for those who value quiet operation above all else. The installation of extensive insulation has helped minimise unwanted noise from fans or hard drives. In order for the installed hardware to receive the necessary cooling, the Tranquility offers an abundance of air inlets on the front. Moreover, the insulated roof can be removed for when a radiator is installed below it. As a consequence, the Kolink Tranquility retains the airflow necessary for gaming, but the extra insulation on the front and sides means that this airflow does not come at the cost of excess noise. The exterior of the case also manages to impress with its blend of modern but reserved design. Extensive Insulation & Two Pre-Installed Fans The robust chassis consists of 1mm-thick SECC steel. Both side panels as well as the front are equipped with insulating mats. Even the roof of the case is equipped with insulation, although this is removable should users require additional airflow. Beneath this, users can install a 240mm radiator, and the front of the case also offers support for a 240mm radiator. The brushed aluminium-look front is equipped with two side-facing air inlets for sufficient airflow. To keep the hardware supplied with sufficient cool air, two of a total of six potential 120mm fans can fit in the case. One is situated in the bottom of three possible slots behind the front panel, the second in the one slot available at the back. Two further 120mm fans can be installed beneath the top cover. Dust Filters Keep the Kolink Tranquility Clean The whole interior of the case has a black coating, and a PSU shroud keeps the overall look clean and tidy. This also includes a hard drive cage with support for two 3.5- or 2.5“ drives while retaining space for the PSU. The reverse of the motherboard tray has a bracket for supoprting a total of two 2.5“ drives. The motherboard tray and the cover of the power supply offers various openings for superior cable management. A removable dust filter is located beneath the power supply. GPUs are limited to 38 cm in length and CPU coolers up to 16 cm are compatible. Additionally, the case offers an I/O panel located on the front with two USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 Type-A port.
